David Bestué

David Bestue's project “Objeto Doble” was a conference in which he wanted to deal with the relationship between sculpture and language through objects, photographs and texts. One of the reasons that led him to come to Lima for a month and a half was the work of the poet and linguist Mario Montalbetti, and the peculiar relationship that he establishes with his "material" work. In the same way that he commented that a poem suspends language, David wanted to investigate to what extent a sculpture can suspend reality.
